Rubber Conference 2009 has been successfully held in Guangzhou
China
CRC 2009, sponsored by China Rubber Industry Association(CRIA),
had been successfully held in Guangzhou China in Mar. 18~19 2009.
More than 500 delegates from domestic and foreign NR producing
and processing enterprises, SR producing enterprises, tyre, rubber
products, latex products manufacturers, rubber traders, rubber
futures companies, broker companies and so on came to attend this
conference.
Global financial crisis has affected all the industries of the
world, and Chinese rubber industry also face severe challenges.
How to deal with challenges? How is China rubber market going?
How about the price of the rubber raw materials of 2009? What
measures we should take? These are the major topics of this conference.
In the conference, Mr. Fan Rende, Chairman of CRIA, made the report
on Chinese rubber industry of 2008 and forecast for Chinese rubber
market demand of 2009. He said “Chinese rubber industry will maintain
stable and rapid development in 2009 and even the future. Although
the overall growth rate will be a little declining, still continue
to maintain increasing by 10% or so.” Mr. Fan Jianping, Director
of Economic Forecast Division of State Information Center was
also invited to make the report on policy effect of increasing
domestic demand and new economic trend; Dr. Hidde P Smit, Secretary-General
of IRSG also made a report on When and how will the global rubber
industry recover?
Compared to former three conferences, interview program is undoubtedly
a new hot light. Through the interview to the delegates from NR
producing countries of Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia,
they respectively introduce NR producing and sales plan. Besides,
domestic tyre enterprises also showed their own opinions about
rubber demand, SR production capacity and tyre producing plan
of 2009.
Singapore Commodity Exchange Limited and Tokyo Commodity Exchange
were invited to make the report on NR exchange market and development
of 2008. Professor Chen Zhihong from Beijing Rubber Industry Research
& Design Institute also made a report on Chinese Tire Industry
under Global Financial Crisis. He analyzed Chinese tyre development
trend based upon auto industry market situation.
During the conference, the raw material exhibition was also held
synchronously, which provided a good opportunity for domestic
and foreign rubber producers and traders to make the discussion
and further cooperation.
